Presenting his book “The Library of Plato and the Academy”, the book historian Konstantinos Staikos discussed with the member of the Academy of Athens and Professor of Mathematics at Cambridge University, Athanassios Fokas, about the history of books and libraries in Plato’s time, as well as important issues raised in the Platonic dialogues Meno and Theaetetus regarding the nature of knowledge.
