The Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation in collaboration with the University of Amsterdam and the Marilena Laskaridis Endowed Chair of Modern Greek Studies, organizes on Friday 20 May 2022, the International Symposium “1821-2021. Revisiting the Greek War of Independence. Intellectual Landscape and Global Resonances“.
The Symposium aims to highlight the international impact of the Greek War of Independence, and exam a different interpretive framework, beyond the traditional approaches. It also aims to bring the greater public in contact with contemporary research.
The Symposium will be held at the University of Amsterdam, whilst anyone interested can attend it through zoom platform.
