Globalization is bringing all nations closer to each other as interaction between members of the shrinking “global village” increases.

In the modern world, China is emerging today as a great power, influencing humanity (and being influenced) through trade, economy and culture. In order for the interaction between nations to bear better results, there is a clear need to understand and respect each other’s historical and cultural background.

How well do the Greek people know the Chinese? And what is the level of knowledge of the Chinese people about Greeks? This webinar will explore contacts, influences and mutual perspectives from ancient times to today as they appear documented in two parallel surveys, conducted respectively in Greece and China.
