Since 2019 the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation has organized visits to libraries all over Greece, aiming to record their incunable editions in the global electronic database Material Evidence in Incunabula.
With this process coming to a close, the Foundation is organizing a conference on incunable editions (books printed before 1501) in Greek libraries outside Athens. In the conference we will present the result of our visits all over Greece, focusing on provenance and the material evidence of the incunables. Speakers will include representatives of the libraries, as well as scholars from Greece and abroad.
