The library of Professor Nancy Winter

The library was acquired by the Foundation in 2021. It consists of approximately 650 volumes covering the history and art of the Etruscans and other topics in classical archaeology.

Biography

Nancy Winter (b. 1944) is an archaeologist. She studied classics at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and received her PhD in Classical Archaeology and Near Eastern Archaeology from Bryn Mawr College in 1974. She collaborated with the American School of Classical Studies at Athens, where she served as Librarian of the Blegen Library, and in Rome. She also taught at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
