The library of philologist Dimitrios Th. Natsios

The collection was donated to the Foundation in 2025 by the owner himself. It consists of approximately 1,000 items, mainly focused on the subject of education.

Dimitrios Th. Natsios (1940) is a philologist. He initially served as a secondary school teacher and later as a teacher trainer in Lamia. He was then seconded as head of the General State Archives, in the Archives of the Prefecture of Pthiotida. Alongside his teaching and administrative duties, he is engaged in historical research. He has and published dozens of books and hundreds of articles and studies in magazines and newspapers, most of which refer to Lamia. He has participated in international and Greek conferences with presentations on historical topics. Since 1980, he has been editor and publisher of the annual literary publication ‘Pthiotika Chronika’ (Pthiotida Chronicles). He has been honoured by the Municipality of Lamia for his contribution to the cultural and historical promotion of the city.
