The Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation, for the 5th consecutive year, invites you to participate in the celebration of the European Day for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage, on Sunday 15 October at 11:00 a.m., at the Historical Library building in a special event.
The public will be guided to the temporary exhibition Greek Literature in Early Typography and will have the opportunity to admire incunabula editions of Greek works in the original and in Latin translation. At the same time, there will be a demonstration of old and rare books from the Foundation’s collections, as well as a discussion on issues related to book damage and the procedures for their conservation and restoration.
