The Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation celebrates 30 years of history and contribution to education, culture, and shipping and invites the public on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at 20:00, at the Municipal Theatre of Piraeus, to an anniversary event with presentations, screenings and a classical music concert. An evening of celebration, review and evaluation of the Foundation’s multifaceted work from its establishment to the present day, but also to mark its course for the coming decades.
Programme
The event will be opened by Panos Laskaridis, President of the Foundation, and Katerina Laskaridi, Vice President, with a retrospective of its 30 years of activity. A special moment of the evening is the tribute to Marilena Laskaridis, with a video that honors her decisive contribution to shaping the Foundation’s physiognomy and mission.
The event will conclude with a concert by the Hellenic-Austrian Music Academy of Strings “Strings in Motion”, with the participation of scholars of the Panhellenic Violin Competition Ismini Carter, of the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation. The musical programme includes works by Franz Schubert, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovksy, Édouard Lalo.
