The Faculty of Humanities at the University of Amsterdam invites applications for one (1) visiting research fellowship in the field of Modern Greek Studies for early-career and more advanced scholars who wish to pursue part of their research at the University of Amsterdam. Applicants are required to hold a Ph.D. For the academic year 2026-2027, one fellowship will be offered to an early-career scholar (with a Ph.D. not earlier than 2020) for a period of 5 months.
The fellowships are sponsored by the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation, which is also the main sponsor of the Marilena Laskaridis Chair of Modern Greek Studies at the University of Amsterdam, held by Prof. Dr. Maria Boletsi.
