The Association of Greek Librarians and Information Scientists (EEBEP), in collaboration with the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation, are organizing the annual conference of EEBEP, which will take place from 22 to 24 April 2026, on the topic: Spaces of knowledge and memory: Redefining the image of libraries, archives and museums in a changing world, at the Historical Library of the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation (36 2nd Merarchias Street & Akti Moutsopoulou, Piraeus).
The aim of the conference is to highlight the modern role of libraries, archives and museums as dynamic centers of knowledge, innovation and social cohesion. It seeks to promote dialogue around the challenges and opportunities that arise in the ever-evolving information environment.
At the same time, it aims to strengthen cooperation between professionals in the field, the exchange of good practices and the presentation of new tools and technologies, which support their digital transformation, emphasizing the development of skills, the empowerment of human resources and the promotion of open and equal access to knowledge for all, but also the preservation of our cultural heritage.
