The Lending Library will be near you from October every day Monday to Friday, from 10.00 to 19.00, as well as on Saturday from 10.00 to 14.00.
Wifi, free coffee, reading rooms and, above all, our librarians will be waiting for you for whatever you need! We have a computer room, tablets and several sockets to use your laptops without fear.
In addition, in our library you will find over 45,000 book titles on the shelves that can’t wait to keep you company, covering as many topics as possible, from science and theory to, of course, a wide variety of Greek and foreign literature as well as children’s literature. Our collection is constantly updated, with love and passion, through the purchase of new publications but also with the kind donations of the members and friends of the library.
You can view the entire library collection from your computer or mobile phone through our online catalog.
In case you are unable to use electronic media or have a problem using them, we will be happy to help you if you contact us by phone at 2169003740 or by email at library@laskaridisfoundation.org. Each library member can borrow up to 3 books for 15 days, with the possibility of renewing the loan for another 15 days with just one phone.
For those who are not already members of the Lending Library and wish to join our company, we are pleased to inform you that you can register easily and quickly without any financial burden and have access to the collections and all the services of the library completely free of charge!
All you have to do is go through the reception area of the library (Kountouriotou 173) with your ID card and we will immediately issue you the membership card so that you can use all our services. If you do not have this option, you can submit a membership registration request or send an email to library@laskaridisfoundation.org and we will contact you as soon as possible to complete the process. We will be very happy to meet you in person and show you around our premises!
The BOOK DELIVERY AT HOME service reopens from Monday, October 13, 2025 and we will be happy to serve you every Tuesday and Thursday upon request.
The service is available to all Members who are residents of the Municipality of Piraeus, Neo Faliro and the neighboring Municipalities. Specifically the Municipalities of Keratsini – Drapetsona, Nikaia – Ag. I. Rentis and Moschato.
For school groups and not only those who wish to visit the Lending Library and get to know it through secret routes, it is necessary to complete the relevant application.

Bookkit travels throughout Greece and is borrowed free of charge to libraries, institutions and other institutions as part of their educational programs.
Its purpose is to create a channel of communication between children and historical events, through a package of activities aimed at children aged 10-15.
In order to borrow the bookkit, it is necessary to fill in the relevant application.
