The Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation was honored with an Award by the Academy of Athens during the Solemn Session held on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at the Academy’s Building. Specifically, the Foundation was awarded an Award by the Third Class of Moral and Social Sciences for its great and continuous contribution to the fields of Culture and Education in our country, but also internationally.
The Award was presented by the President of the Academy of Athens, Mr. Michalis Tiverios, to the Director of Academic Affairs of the Foundation, Mrs. Kali Kyparissi.
For the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation, this honorary distinction is a special recognition and seal of its timeless contribution, at a symbolic juncture, as it coincides with the completion of the 30th anniversary of presence and social action. At the same time, it is a source of inspiration and responsibility for the continuation and further strengthening of his work.
On the occasion of the award, the Foundation’s Vice President, Katerina Laskaridi, states: “Faithful to our vision and values, for 30 years we have been seeking to break new ground and mitigate inequalities through actions in culture, education, health, shipping and society as a whole. In a rapidly changing world, we are committed to continuing to invest in people, cultivating knowledge, dialogue and active participation, with the aim of creating a positive social impact.”
