The School of Humanities of the University of Amsterdam, within the framework of the Marilena Laskaridis Chair of Modern Greek Studies, announces two (2) scholarships for visiting researchers.
The scholarships are funded by the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation, with the aim of promoting research in the field of Modern Greek Studies. For the academic year 2024-2025, one (1) scholarship is offered for a period of 5 months for young researchers who completed their doctoral studies not earlier than 2018 and one (1) scholarship for a period of 5 months for more experienced researchers, who completed their doctoral studies respectively between 2004 – 2018.
Scholars, who are selected exclusively by the University of Amsterdam on the basis of academic criteria, must reside in the city for the period specified in order to conduct their research.
