The Historical Library of the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation participates in the event Light the City, an initiative of the Master’s Program in Theater Studies in Nafplio, in collaboration with the Municipal Theater of Piraeus.
This is a unique experience that brings to life three iconic buildings in Piraeus – the Foundation’s Historical Library, the Electric Railway Museum, and the 21st Elementary School of Piraeus – through guided tours, experiential activities, and theatrical readings.
At our Library, we await you with:
19.00 – 19.45 | Guided tour of the Historical Library building and the exhibition “30 years, 30 books: Tiny, mighty, precious, rare” – a curated journey through the rare collections of the Historical Library, where books of diverse themes reveal the knowledge, art, and history held within their pages.
20.00 – 21.00 | A theatrical reading entitled “How I dream of tomorrow,” presented by students of the Master’s Program “Creative Writing, Theater, and Cultural Industries,” under the guidance of playwright Akis Dimou.
