The Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation participates in the celebration of the 130 years of contribution of the Municipal Theater of Piraeus with an open discussion on September 16, 2025 at 19.00, at the Municipal Theater (Omega stage).
The event will explore the role of culture in the modern era, the identity of the artist and the influence of socio-political conditions on the creation and importance of cultural products.
How is freedom and limits defined in art? Is there a modern form of censorship? What are the prospects of cultural goods in the era of changing social conditions, with the rapid development of technology? A reflection on the value and imperative of culture as a humanistic and restorative practice in the age of isolation and AI.
